Bringing your mobile to Tui Mobile is as smooth as flying from one Kowhai tree to another. Tui Mobile has partnered with one of the largest mobile networks in New Zealand. This means that we have a reliable service utilising some of our countries best telecommunications infrastructure. (There are a few gaps in some of the remote spots - just like the other big players.)
Most newer phones should work with these 4G and 5G technologies, so you should have no issues calling and connecting as soon as you install your Tui SIM into your phone. That said, there are always some exceptions, particularly if you bought your phone overseas or from a parallel importer. If you are unsure, we suggest checking you mobile phones specifications before switching.
Most 4G and 5G compatible phones will work fine with Tui Mobile.
Our network operates on specific frequencies: 3G (UMTS 900MHz and 2100MHz), 4G (LTE 700MHz, 900 MHz and 1800 MHz) as well as 5G (3500MHz). To confirm your mobile's compatibility, check its individual model specifications. Coming From Overseas?
Many mobile devices from overseas providers come network-locked, which means they're restricted to their original carrier. If this sounds like your situation, you'll need to contact your previous provider and request an unlocking code.
